In order to be accepted by customs and sent to your recipient as soon as possible, a package must have, on its outer side, an official customs declaration document (CN23 form) and the invoice relating to the goods transported inside.
Cubyn facilitates these customs formalities by generating the CN23 form directly in the warehouse. We print it at the same time as the invoice and place both documents in an adhesive pouch on the outside of the package.
What is the CN23 form?
The CN23 form makes it possible to export goods outside the European Union (EU), as part of distance selling activities, regardless of the value and nature of the shipment (postal parcel or small package). It contains the necessary information for the customs clearance of the goods and stands as the exportation tax certificate (VAT).
Beware : commercial or not, the shipment must be declared ! The customs formalities concern all kinds of shipments, even those aimed at individuals. Even if it is a gift, customs documents will have to be completed.
What information should I provide for my shipment?
