By default, all your shipments with Cubyn are insured up to 33 € (vat excluded) without exceeding the sales value of the merchandise carrier and 1,500 € (vat excluded). This insurance is included in Cubyn service fees.
However, you can set any insured value (maximal value: 1,500 € vat excluded) on your parcels. This ad-valorem insurance is billed 1% of its value.
Example: for a shipment insured to 150 € vat excluded, the insurance billed will be:
150 (insured value) x 0.01 = 1.50 € vat excluded.
Add insurance to a specific order
- Individually on an order in the part SHIPPING OPTIONS within the order details, in the field Insurance value.
- Massively on multiple orders by selecting the required orders and opening the editing massively window.
Activate the automatic insurance on all orders
This option is available only for customers that have the Cubyn integration module set up. To configure the automatic insurance on all shipments, please contact your account manager or write us an email at help@cubyn.com.
