Cubyn also offers a Reverse option to put your returns back in your inventory or to test them before shipping them back to you.
The Reverse service exists in three separate options defined below :
- Option 1 : Unopened carrier returns re-storing - included by default in your offer since November 2021
- Option 2 : Light quality check for phones + consolidated shipping back
- Option 3 : Phone deep technical check + re-store or ship back (only for Backmarket parcels)
Option 1 : Unopened carrier returns re-storing - included by default in your offer since November 2021
This concerns packages that could not be delivered by the carrier and that are returned to Cubyn’s logistic center (in particular a non-reclaimed package after a delivery failure). Logistic center of return it the one which has sent the package
In order to guarantee best processing of those returns, and make your items available again as fast as possible, we collect and store back all your carrier returns automatically.
Cubyn proceeds to a visual control of the package to ensure it was never open.
In case the package has never been opened, the Product is re-stored in maximum 5 working days after the reception.
Carrier Returns are available for consultation in your Returns tab.
Reception date and list of products received are displayed in the details + Inventory is automatically updated.
Option 2 : Light quality check for phones + consolidated shipping back
This Option only concerns returned Products to Cubyn’s logistic center, excluding cases of Option 1.
When the Package is received by Cubyn, the product inside will be processed by Cubyn as follows :
- A visual inspection of the smartphone screen will be carried out to confirm that the screen is not broken
- Quality check of 3 elements : screen not damaged, IMEI matching, Phone not locked by iCloud, Google and PIN code
The outcome of the tests is a batch consolidation for return to merchant location in all cases.
Option 3 : Phone deep technical check + re-store or ship back
This Option only concerns returned Products to Cubyn’s logistic center and parcel from Backmarket, excluding cases of Option 1.
When the Package is received by Cubyn, the product inside will be processed by Cubyn as follows :
- A visual inspection of the smartphone screen will be carried out to confirm that the screen is not broken
- Check of IMEI matching the one in the original order
- Check of iCloud, Google and PIN locking status
- Full quality check on 10+ criteria like connectivity (WIFI, Bluetooth), GPS, Audio (loudspeaker, receptor, microphone), camera (photo camera, video, autofocus), battery, display, sensor (accelerometer, call proximity, compass, 3D touch, gyroscope), equipment (vibration, home button, volume, locking, mute).
The two possible outcomes of the tests are :
- Re-storing with new accessories when test successful
- Batch consolidation for return to the merchant if unsuccessful
